“I really got benefit from going through the 10 Focalength domains as I now ensure I incorporate them with my clients”
Far too often ADHD goes unrecognised, and under/mismanaged. Alternatively, ADHD may be the focus while other aspects of the person are not managed. This results in suboptimal outcomes for the individual’s mental health and life experience. Practitioners naturally tend to focus on an aspect of the patient within their own specific area of expertise, without an integrated method to assess and manage additional factors that have an impact on the person’s mental health and function.
The Focalength Method™ seeks to redress this shortcoming of conventional treatment by integrating wide-ranging elements to guide and support the person’s treatment, to assist them in achieving their true potential.
As a result of implementing this structured approach for over 30 years as a Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr. Mastroianni has achieved optimal outcomes for his patients’ wellbeing. Having employed this approach with mentally ill patients in the NSW Justice Health Service for 20 years, he and his team achieved excellent clinical outcomes and the absence of recidivism among those treated with his unique, holistic method.
“Discourages unintentional professional bias by reviewing clients through the lens of the different ‘domains’”
